Through Narrow Gate Lodge, Narrow Gate Bridge, and Narrow Gate Artisans, we have realized the lasting and far-reaching effects of human transformation when Christian discipleship becomes the center of every decision and action in life.

By following Jesus’ model of changing 12, who changed the world, Narrow Gate has stayed true to the calling to make passionate disciples of Jesus in every sphere of influence – from family to church to marketplace to global missions.

NARROW GATE LODGE
This 8-month disciple making journey helps young men realize their biblical identity as disciples of Jesus while they live and lead as passionate followers of Jesus. Key elements of this transformation experience include:
  • Rigorous screening for Admission to the NG Lodge opportunity with key criteria including Desire to Change, Receptivity to Feedback, Tenacity and Discipline, Openness to Faith, Learning Orientation, and Authenticity
  • Tuition-free admission to any student candidate who is well qualified to succeed in this rigorous and transformative experience
  • 22 years of experience with a success and graduation rate of nearly 90% – without compromising the challenging environment required for biblical transformation
  • Rich and experiential growth through a combination of Classroom Learning, Character Development Exercises, and Craftsmanship training for hands-on understanding
  • And the entire 8-month experience is offered tuition free to every qualified candidate who is accepted to attend Narrow Gate Lodge – regardless of the student’s financial capacity.

NARROW GATE BRIDGE

This 36-week learning cycle is designed to add capability to passion by providing:
  • Measurable competency training in areas including Coaching, Communication, Managing Work, Stewardship, Continuous Learning, and Teamwork.
  • Housing and meals at no charge to the participants.
  • Weekly stipend pay and graduation bonuses designed to launch the program graduate into the next chapter of their life in pursuit of Christ and calling.
  • Hands-on, productive work that produces profit designed to keep Narrow Gate Lodge tuition-free.
  • A resume entry that shows measurable learning and growth not just classroom theory

NARROW GATE ARTISANS

Narrow Gate Artisans is a growing and thriving marketplace ministry that produces revenue designed to help Narrow Gate Lodge remain tuition free. Our wood, leather, and coffee businesses are just an extension of our mission to make disciples – not just by providing revenue, but by creating an environment for work and worship to co-exist through:
  • Wednesday Worship where the businesses take a mid-day break from daily production and invite the community to join in a bible study and lunch – free of charge.
  • Continuing development through our Leadership Development Pipeline program.
  • Holding to the core values for ALL of Narrow Gate: Devotion, Growth, and Community.
  • Providing living wages, matching IRA program, Healthcare, and a culture of Christian love that acts as a beacon to the watching world.
Your investment provides long-term discipleship that creates a unique environment for dedicated transformation. With your financial partnership, in 5 years we will generate annual gross receipts topping $10m, with net revenues of $1m annually. Together, we are:
  • Keeping Narrow Gate Lodge tuition free for well qualified young men ages 18-25 seeking to discover Jesus as Lord.
  • Offering Narrow Gate Bridge to qualified candidates by subsidizing the cost of engagement with these young leaders – while they provide a workforce that is critical to the success of Narrow Gate... in all its expressions.
  • Building a sustainable model for how non-profits can create and sustain businesses that support their mission while making leaders and disciples in the marketplace.

Anesthesiologist​

Taylor Broderick came to Narrow Gate to escape gang life as part of the Crips. Today, he is completing his PhD in anesthesiology from UNC Greensboro; is the father of two thriving sons; a faithful husband to his wife, Jessica; and volunteers as a youth leader at his local church.

CPA

Paul Johnson left a broken home filled with divorce and deceit and fulfilled his calling to be a husband, father, and CPA. He currently serves as a Senior Auditor with Deloitte in Atlanta GA.

Lead Pastor

Rob Rogers was raised in a thriving family – that did not know God. His parents had a successful professional life and provided him with every opportunity a young man could imagine. Rob used that as license to delve into drugs deeper and deeper until he became a heroine addict. Today, Rob holds his MDiv and serves as the Senior Pastor of Southall Church – a congregation of over 3,000 members.

College Professor

Brady Rector searched for truth in every corner of possibility. From Psychedelic drugs to Daoism to universalism, Brady did everything in his power to run from the Christian heritage that his family provided. He came to the end of his search when he discovered Truth (Jesus) at Narrow Gate. Today, he holds his PhD in Biblical Language studies and serves as a professor at the Mercy Culture Spiritual School in Ft. Worth TX.​

The list is far too vast to enumerate. So, at the 20-year mark, we conducted a comprehensive Impact Study to survey the health of our graduate’s lives as a result of their experience at Narrow Gate. That’s because we never want anecdotal expressions to overshadow the sweeping change that happens when lives are offered to Christ in full submission. Lasting success in the 90 th percentile is still possible – and that is the reality we experience consistently at Narrow Gate.
