20 YEARS OF LIFE TRANSFORMATION.
The impact of Narrow Gate has ripple effects that span the test of time: in young men, in our workplaces and around the world.
Two decades of stories, in one place.
Read how discipleship at the Lodge, in our shops and around the world has shaped young men, their families and their communities.
Disciples who make disciples.
Watch the story, then pass it on to someone who needs to hear it.
What changes when a young man meets the truth.
From our graduate survey and interviews.
A new creation, for the rest of their lives.
The foundational truths young men learn about God, His Word and what God says about believers in Christ (“you are a new creation”) are so transformational that they change every aspect of their lives.
When asked about the identity shift that happened as a result of Narrow Gate, our interviewees say their identity went from “addict,” “failure,” “unloved,” “unworthy” or “weak” to “freed from sin,” “loved,” “accepted,” “cherished,” “valued” and “courageous.”
When these young men accept spiritual truth and spiritual identities as their current reality, every decision, now and in the future, becomes informed by biblical principles. A change in core beliefs leads to lasting transformation.
“Because of my time at NG, I have discovered my purpose in life.”
“As a result of my time at NG, I am more confident in my identity in Christ.”
understood the Bible only a little or not at all
understand the Bible quite a bit or a lot
From confused to confident in God's Word.
We help young men grow in biblical literacy and give them tools to understand the Bible at a personal level.
We help increase young men’s biblical literacy, but we also teach them tools to understand the Bible at a more personal level.
Our survey data show a dramatic difference before and after Narrow Gate. Before NG, almost 70% of respondents said they understood the Bible only a little or not at all. After NG, more than 90% said they understand it quite a bit or a lot.
Describing the truths they learned at NG, respondents used words like “transformational,” “submission,” “love,” “sacrifice,” “honesty,” “authentic,” “existential,” “selfless” and “humility.”
Facing hard things with courage.
Through hands-on teaching, real-life modeling and a proven, structured curriculum, young men learn to face life’s difficulties with courage and confidence.
Before Narrow Gate, nearly 75% of our graduates said they were not at all or only a little confident in overcoming challenges in life. Because of the challenges they faced during their Lodge experience, 85% now say they are quite a bit or a lot more confident.
“Before coming to NG, I was so afraid of failure that I was unable to try new things. Now I see failure as more of a learning opportunity and I resist the urge to be complacent. I’m pushing myself personally and professionally.”
“Before NG I was a big introvert and spent little time outdoors. Now, I’m constantly in community and find great peace and connection with God through nature.”
Studies have shown that people with higher confidence are more willing to learn, challenge themselves and show resilience in difficult transitions.

More than products. People becoming who God made them to be.
Our businesses are about more than the products we make or the services we provide. They’re places where people are known, trusted, challenged and given room to grow.
Through meaningful work, everyday responsibility and leaders who care about the person behind the job, employees build more than professional skills. They grow in confidence, character and how they relate to others. And the impact goes far beyond the workplace.

They’ve led counseling sessions in Israel, taken part in covert efforts to rescue children from slavery, served as missionaries, provided humanitarian aid and financially supported international missions. Our graduates are putting their faith into action and making a difference around the world.
