JACOB ATOR

GOALS FOR NEXT STEPS: God has given me was intended for the use of ministry, I hope to do the job entrusted to me at Narrow Gate faithfully and serve selflessly and eventually obtain a degree in some kind of Christian studies not for status but to grow in my understanding of the God that has chosen me to follow Him.
STAFF SUMMARY: “I’ve really seen Jacob grow in the area of Coaching. He naturally has a tender heart and has understanding and empathy for others in difficult situations. I’ve watched him use that understanding and empathy as a vehicle to deliver truth that may not have been received well without those qualities. He doesn’t let his compassion hinder him from holding a standard to the men he’s leading…but he doesn’t throw it away either.”

GOALS FOR NEXT STEPS: During his NG Bridge internship, Elijah displayed great aptitude in working with the NG coffee team in roasting, packaging, shipping, and developing others. He has been offered a position to continue his work with NG Coffee continuing to develop skills and leadership abilities.

GOALS FOR NEXT STEPS: After graduating from the Narrow Gate Bridge program, Trenton was accepted into a firefighter training academy, where he’s now pursuing his goal of serving his community through emergency response. His commitment to discipline, teamwork, and service continues to shape his path as he trains to become a certified firefighter.
STAFF SUMMARY: “Trent consistently shows strong initiative, proactively finding work to do without needing direction. He tackles any task he’s given with a great attitude, is highly coachable, and quickly understands and follows through on feedback. He is mature in his thinking and eager to learn, which makes him a valuable and dependable member of the team. Trent went above and beyond in maintaining tools, vehicles and relationships. He cared for the property and taught students in excellence. Trent created an environment where students could learn and have fun all while completing a task. He cares and loves people well and will succeed as he pursues becoming a firefighter.”

GOALS FOR NEXT STEPS: I want to get a bachelor’s degree in psychology and eventually a Master’s in Christian Counseling. I want to help people who are genuinely helping people accomplish their goals.

He in confidence, exhorts and lifts up Lodge students and routinely brings them back to truth found in scripture. GOALS FOR NEXT STEPS: I’ve learned to handle conflict in healthier ways through prayer, journaling, and honest communication. In developing my Vision Plan, I discovered that God has gifted me with a deep desire to create. Wherever He leads me next, I trust it will involve that calling.
